Benefactor to the beach, Arthur S. Fairchild’s generous donation of the land that is now referred to as Magens Bay and Magens Bay beach, is the only reason we can enjoy and operate in this tropical paradise. Gifted to the authority in 1946 for the preservation and enjoyment of all “without discrimination of any kind as to race, creed, color, or national origin” we strive to carry out Fairchild’s foundational wish in all that we do.
